Future Plans

The Board of the Clarence Schock Memorial Park entered into an agreement with Barry Rose, Lawn, Pennsylvania, to write a Stewardship Plan for the 1105 acres. The Stewardship Plan, as presented by Mr. Rose, was modified and accepted by the Board on June 2005.

The Board has established several sub-committees along with the Support Committee to help with the implementation of the Stewardship Plan. The committees established are: Environmental Education, Forest Stewardship (including invasive plants), Trails, Deer Management, Buildings and Grounds and Grants. Board member(s) are assigned to a sub-committee. As action on this plan progresses, additional committees may be formed and volunteers requested. Each committee will present a mission statement to the Board for adoption.
