Registration is required. Call 717-964-3808 to register no later than 24 hours before an event or e-mail the park at governordick@hotmail.com and leave your name and phone number. All programs are free unless stated otherwise, payment for programs can be made the day of the program.
The Environmental Center is open Wednesday through Saturday 8:00 a.m. to
4:00 p.m. and Sunday 12:00 to 4:00 p.m.

Cache In - Trash & Garlic Mustard Out

Lets show a bit of love for Clarence Schock Park at Governor Dick. It appears that the caching community has 55 active caches in the park at this time. Map and Compass for GDP

This is an introduction for hikers to learn how to use a map and compass to find their way around Governor Dick Park. Please feel free to bring any maps that you want help with and your compass if you have one. After our indoor session we will take a short optional hike to the tower and back to experience some of what we learned

Join Joan Light for an informational talk all about horses, and we will even get to meet some of her lovely horses. This program is geared towards tweens & teens.
Mosaic Pop-Up Event

Make a glass tile to be incorporated into a huge artwork to celebrate the semiquincentennial: America's 250th birthday!
2025 MEETING NOTICE of the BOARD OF DIRECTORS of Clarence Schock Memorial Park at Governor Dick
The Board of Directors of the Clarence Schock Memorial Park at Governor Dick will meet on the below listed dates. Meetings are open to the public and are held at the Governor Dick Environmental Center, 3283 Pinch Road, Mt. Gretna, PA. Meetings begin at 7:15 p.m.
If State or Federal COVID 19 meeting restrictions are in place or there is inclement weather on the date of a meeting, the meeting will be held in virtual format utilizing ZOOM, tele-conferencing or other social media platforms. Members of the public desiring access to virtual meetings should email: Governordick@hotmail.com for a connection link.
